The Ravanayana

I saw the play "The Ravananaya" at the Kennedy Lab theatre here at UH. It was NOT what I had expected. I expected something more Bollywood, but it turns out that it was a western adaptation. It was set in a gin joint in what seemed like the 20's or 30's. It had a lot of music that I believe was... JAZZ. The play is a little odd at some points, but if you go for any three reasons, these would be them: Burlesque style dancing, Capguns, and an Awesome band.

Ciao.
